The Association was created in June 2009 as a partnership of Sports Travel Agencies.
With members located in over 50 countries in 6 continents, i.s.t.a.a. is the worldwide association gathering specialised agencies and organisations operating in the Sports Travel industry.
Every year, together, its members facilitate travel, hospitality programmes and services for thousands of visitors and spectators attending the major and most relevant sports events in the planet, such as Olympic Games, World Cups, World Championships and other international and local tournaments.
Members and partners meet once a year at the Annual General Meeting & Conference held at the location of a host member. i.s.t.a.a. provides its members networking and information opportunities, promoting business and cooperation.
